San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers
LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — The Los Angeles Dodgers overcame an early five-run deficit to defeat the San Francisco Giants 7-5 on Saturday at Dodger Stadium.
The Giants erupted for four runs in the first inning, highlighted by Bryce Eldridge’s three-run double. Max Muncy answered with a two-run homer in the bottom of the frame for the Dodgers. Los Angeles chipped away, tying the game on a Tommy Edman solo shot in the fifth before taking the lead for good on Shohei Ohtani’s major league-leading 53rd home run in the sixth. An RBI single by Teoscar Hernández later in the inning provided a critical insurance run.
