MIAMI (Interstat) — Eastern Florida State edged Miami Dade 87-86 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday, avenging a loss from earlier this season. The visiting Titans, who improved to 14-6, held a narrow 47-43 halftime lead and managed to withstand a second-half push from the Sharks. Miami Dade fell to 6-8 with the one-point defeat. The result flipped the previous meeting on Jan. 7, when Miami Dade won 79-72. Eastern Florida State was projected as a slight favorite entering the contest.
