Miami Dade 85, at Polk State 83

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (Interstat) — The Miami Dade Sharks edged the Polk State Eagles 85-83 in a men’s junior college basketball game Wednesday night. The visiting Sharks secured the narrow road victory despite a late push from the Eagles. The win improved Miami Dade’s season record to 8-10, while Polk State fell to 1-18. Key performances fueled the Eagles’ effort in the close loss. Interstat’s ELO system had projected Miami Dade with a 60.40 percent probability to win. Miami Dade next hosts Daytona State on Saturday.
