Rhode Island at Brown

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Interstat) — A surging Rhode Island team looks to rebound from its first loss when it visits crosstown rival Brown on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, in a non-conference matchup at Stevenson Field.

The Rams (4-1) saw their four-game winning streak snapped decisively last Saturday in a 47-14 road loss to FBS opponent Western Michigan. Quarterback Devin Farrell was a bright spot in the defeat, throwing for 229 yards and a touchdown. Running back Antwain Littleton Jr. scored a touchdown both rushing and receiving.

Brown (1-1) is also coming off a lopsided loss, falling 41-7 at Harvard. The Bears’ offense struggled, with quarterback James Murphy throwing for 99 yards and a touchdown. Their season opened with a 46-0 rout of Georgetown.

Despite Rhode Island’s stronger record, Interstat’s game simulator projects a 32-21 victory for the home-standing Bears. The Rams will aim to leverage their productive offense against a Brown squad seeking consistency. The intracity bragging rights will be on the line in Providence.
