EASTON, Pa. (Interstat) — The Lafayette Leopards defeated the Bucknell Bison 65-56 in a women’s basketball game Wednesday afternoon at Kirby Sports Center.

Lafayette built a 21-12 lead after the first quarter and maintained control throughout. Teresa Kiewiet led the Leopards with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Talia Zurinskas added a game-high 19 points. Emma Heaney anchored the defense with 13 rebounds and three blocks.

Ella Kreuzer scored 14 points for Bucknell, which saw a two-game win streak snapped. Lafayette improved to 8-12 overall, while Bucknell fell to 5-14. An announced crowd of 286 attended the Patriot League contest.
