PEORIA, Ill. (Interstat) — Kaylen Nelson scored 32 points to propel the Bradley women’s basketball team to an 85-79 victory over Drake in a Missouri Valley Conference game Thursday night at Carver Arena.

The Braves improved to 14-7 overall behind Nelson’s efficient performance. Drake’s Bulldogs, led by Anna Becker’s 13 points, fell to 6-14 despite a 25-point fourth-quarter push to close the gap. Bradley never trailed after the first quarter, maintaining a steady lead built on a 44-38 halftime advantage. Attendance was 862. The Braves completed a regular-season sweep of Drake after also winning in Des Moines on Jan. 16.
