CINCINNATI (Interstat) — The Connecticut Huskies delivered a commanding performance Sunday, routing the Xavier Musketeers 104-39 in a women’s basketball game at Cintas Center. The Huskies, who improved to 7-0, opened a 49-25 halftime lead and broke the game open with a 35-point third quarter. Allie Ziebell scored 16 points to lead a balanced Connecticut offense that saw seven players score between nine and 16 points. Vivien Nejašmić scored 12 points for Xavier, which fell to 4-3. A crowd of 3,536 watched the Huskies’ dominant Big East Conference victory.
