PHILADELPHIA (Interstat) — The Saint Louis Billikens used a dominant fourth quarter to defeat the La Salle Explorers 66-57 in an Atlantic 10 women’s basketball game Wednesday afternoon at Tom Gola Arena.

Saint Louis, which trailed by one point entering the final period, outscored La Salle 20-7 in the fourth quarter to secure the road victory. The Billikens improved to 9-10 overall after a 24-point second quarter had given them an early edge. La Salle, which fell to 10-7, managed only seven points in the decisive final quarter before a crowd of 850. The Explorers had been projected as favorites to win.
