NEW YORK (Interstat) — Fordham defeated Long Island 72-51 in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game Sunday at Rose Hill Gym. The Rams improved to 6-3 overall, while the Sharks fell to 4-2. Kadidia Toure scored 19 points for Long Island, but Fordham’s balanced attack proved too much. Alexis Black led the Rams with 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists as Fordham controlled the paint, outscoring Long Island 34-14 inside.
