Long Island at Fordham
NEW YORK (Interstat) — A surging Long Island women’s basketball team will look to continue its strong start when it visits Fordham at Rose Hill Gym on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.
The Sharks (4-1) enter on a three-game winning streak, most recently defeating American 69-55 on Nov. 20. Kadidia Toure led the way with 16 points and four assists, while Janessa Williams added 15 points. Long Island’s only loss came on the road against South Florida.
The Rams (5-3) are coming off a 70-47 road victory over Niagara on Nov. 26. Alexis Black scored 18 points and Ornella Niankan recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Fordham has won two straight after a three-game skid that included a double-overtime loss at Seton Hall.
The matchup pits Long Island’s high-scoring offense against a Fordham squad that has found its footing defensively, holding its last two opponents under 65 points. The Sharks have scored 70 or more points in four of their five games this season.
This is the final non-conference home game for Fordham before it begins Atlantic 10 play. Long Island continues its road stretch before returning home to face Rider on Dec. 2.
Tipoff is set for Sunday afternoon at historic Rose Hill Gym.
