Air Force at UC San Diego
SAN DIEGO (Interstat) — The Air Force Falcons, riding a two-game winning streak, will visit the UC San Diego Tritons in a non-conference women’s basketball game Saturday at RIMAC Arena.
Air Force (3-2) enters the contest following a 65-55 home victory over Portland State on Tuesday. Milahnie Perry led the Falcons with 20 points, while Jayda McNabb added nine points and three blocks. The Falcons’ other wins this season came against Manhattan and Denver.
UC San Diego (1-3) looks to rebound from a tough 80-69 road loss to San Francisco last Sunday. In that game, Erin Condron paced the Tritons with 18 points and six rebounds. Rosa Smith added 13 points and five rebounds. The Tritons’ lone victory was a 72-54 win over Denver on Nov. 7.
The Falcons have found success on the road this season, splitting their first four away games. The Tritons will be playing their second home game of the young season as they seek to level their record.
Following this game, Air Force travels to Florida for a multi-game event, facing Florida Atlantic on Nov. 27 and Wright State on Nov. 29. UC San Diego will host Occidental on Monday before a Pacific Northwest road trip to face Washington and Portland State.
