Nevada at Saint Mary`s
MORAGA, Calif. (Interstat) — The undefeated Saint Mary’s Gaels will put their perfect record on the line Sunday when they host the Nevada Wolf Pack in a non-conference women’s basketball game at McKeon Pavilion.
Saint Mary’s (3-0) has cruised through its early schedule, most recently routing San Francisco State 77-38 on Nov. 9. The Gaels have won all three of their games by double digits, including a season-opening road victory at Wyoming.
Nevada (2-1) arrives looking to build on a 56-52 home win over Loyola Marymount this past Thursday. Izzy Sullivan led the Wolf Pack with 15 points in the victory. Nevada’s season has been a mix of results, sandwiching a 20-point loss at Sacramento State between a dominant home win and the tight triumph over LMU.
The game represents a step up in competition for the Gaels, who have yet to leave the state of California. For the Wolf Pack, it is the second of a challenging stretch of road games.
Following this contest, Saint Mary’s prepares for a tough road test at California on Nov. 20. Nevada returns home to host Alabama A&M on Nov. 21.
