NORMAN, Okla. (Interstat) — The Oklahoma Sooners cruised to an 85-58 victory over the Texas A&M Aggies in a Southeastern Conference women’s basketball game Thursday night at Lloyd Noble Center.

Oklahoma established control early, leading 46-27 at halftime behind a balanced attack. Payton Verhulst led the Sooners with 16 points, while Aaliyah Chavez added 14 and Raegan Beers scored 12. Lauren Ware paced Texas A&M with 15 points.

The Sooners, who improved to 17-4 overall, shot efficiently and never trailed after the first quarter. The Aggies fell to 8-9. Attendance was 4,624.
