DAYTON, Ohio (Interstat) — The Dayton Flyers held off the Saint Bonaventure Bonnies 75-71 in an Atlantic 10 women’s basketball game Wednesday night at University of Dayton Arena.

Dayton led 32-29 at halftime and maintained a narrow advantage through a back-and-forth second half. Saint Bonaventure’s Laycee Drake scored a game-high 29 points, while Aaliyah Parker added 17 for the Bonnies. Dayton was led by Olivia Leung’s 20 points and Nicole Stephens’ 19.

The Flyers overcame 22 turnovers by dominating the offensive glass 17-4. Both teams finished 26 of 59 from the field, but Dayton’s 9 3-pointers proved critical. The Bonnies fell to 12-10, while Dayton evened its record at 11-10. Attendance was 2,319.
