(Interstat) — In a game defined by defensive grit and offensive struggles, Alex-Anne Bessette’s late-game heroics lifted Loyola Chicago to a narrow 61-59 victory over Saint Bonaventure in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game Thursday afternoon at the Henrico Sports and Events Center.
