NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (Interstat) — Tyonna Bailey scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to power Charleston Southern to an 88-62 women’s basketball victory over Presbyterian on Saturday at CSU Field House.

The Buccaneers never trailed, building a 46-27 halftime lead behind efficient shooting. They finished 29 of 52 from the floor and made 22 of 24 free throws. The Blue Hose struggled offensively, shooting just 36.9% overall and 2 of 14 from 3-point range.

Bailey added four assists for Charleston Southern, which improved to 8-16. Nevaeh Jones contributed 14 points and five blocks. Krystal Haddock led Presbyterian with 14 points. The Blue Hose fell to 3-21. Attendance was 322.
