LEWISBURG, Pa. (Interstat) — The Lafayette women’s basketball team secured a 62-49 victory over Bucknell in a Patriot League matchup Wednesday night at Sojka Pavilion.

The Leopards built a steady lead, holding a 30-29 edge at halftime before pulling away in the second half. A decisive third quarter, where they outscored the Bison 16-8, proved critical. Lafayette’s defense stifled Bucknell after the break, limiting the home team to just 19 second-half points.

With the win, Lafayette improves to 7-9 overall. Bucknell falls to 4-12. Interstat’s ELO system had projected the Bison with a 76.4% probability to win. Attendance was 310.
