LEWISBURG, Pa. (Interstat) — Holy Cross opened Patriot League play with a 58-55 road win over Bucknell on Wednesday at Sojka Pavilion. The Crusaders improved to 7-5 overall while the Bison fell to 4-8.

Meg Cahalan led Holy Cross with 19 points, and Simone Foreman added an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double. Bucknell’s Tuana Coskun scored a game-high 23 points in the loss.

Holy Cross secured the victory despite shooting just 3 of 19 from 3-point range, offset by a 15-for-16 performance from the free-throw line. The Crusaders also forced 13 Bucknell turnovers, converting them into a key advantage in steals and assists.
