BATON ROUGE, La. (Interstat) — Top-ranked LSU remained undefeated Thursday night with a dominant 112-49 women’s basketball victory over Alcorn State at the Maravich Assembly Center. The Tigers, now 6-0, overwhelmed the Lady Braves from the start, building a 31-11 lead after the first quarter and never looking back. Alcorn State, which fell to 1-3, was held to just 10 points in the second quarter and could not keep pace with LSU’s high-powered offense in front of a crowd of 9,575.
