BATON ROUGE, La. (Interstat) — The undefeated and high-scoring LSU women’s basketball team returns to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Thursday to host the Alcorn State Lady Braves.

The No. 1-ranked Tigers (5-0) are averaging a staggering 110 points per game and are coming off a 101-71 road victory over Tulane on Monday. MiLaysia Fulwiley scored 20 points and Flau’jae Johnson added 22 in that win, highlighting a deep and potent LSU offense.

Alcorn State (1-2) arrives after a 13-day break following an 81-65 home win over Arkansas Baptist on Nov. 12. Nakia Cheathman led the Lady Braves with 16 points and nine rebounds in that contest, while Kiarra Henderson dished out 10 assists. The team’s other two games this season were lopsided losses, including a 92-39 defeat at Alabama.

This matchup pits one of the nation’s top contenders against a Lady Braves squad looking to build momentum before a challenging stretch of non-conference road games. LSU has won every game this season by at least 43 points.

The game is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at the Maravich Assembly Center.
