LUBBOCK, Texas (Interstat) — Two undefeated teams will clash Thursday when the Mississippi State Lady Bulldogs visit the Texas Tech Lady Raiders at United Spirit Arena.

The matchup, scheduled for Nov. 20, 2025, pits a 4-0 Mississippi State squad against a 5-0 Texas Tech team in a non-conference women’s basketball showdown.

Mississippi State is coming off an 82-55 victory over Jackson State on Nov. 13. Favour Nwaedozi led the way with 18 points, while Madison Francis added 11 points and three blocks. The Lady Bulldogs have won their first four games by an average margin of 27.5 points.

Texas Tech, ranked 18th, enters the game following an 80-68 win over Arkansas on Sunday. Bailey Maupin scored a team-high 19 points in that contest, and Jalynn Bristow contributed 11 points, seven rebounds and three assists. The Lady Raiders have also dominated their early schedule, winning their five games by an average of 29.4 points.

The game represents the first significant test for both programs this season. After this contest, Mississippi State will travel to Niceville, Florida, to face Alcorn State on Nov. 24. Texas Tech will hit the road for a game at New Mexico on Nov. 23.
