CINCINNATI (Interstat) — The Ohio Bobcats and Xavier Musketeers meet Thursday in a nonconference women’s basketball matchup at Cintas Center.

Ohio (2-1) enters the contest looking to build on the momentum of a 76-60 home victory over Morehead State on Nov. 13. The Bobcats’ offense was led in that game by Aliah McWhorter, who scored 18 points, and Bailey Tabeling, who added 15 points, six rebounds and five assists. Asiah Baxter nearly recorded a double-double with eight points and nine rebounds. Ohio’s lone loss this season came against Columbia, 92-74, on Nov. 9.

Xavier (2-2) aims to rebound from a 68-60 home loss to Kent State on Nov. 14. Despite the defeat, Meri Kanerva turned in a strong performance for the Musketeers, scoring 23 points to go with five rebounds and four assists. Mariyah Noel added 13 points and five assists. Xavier’s two losses have both been by single digits at home.

The game pits Ohio’s balanced scoring attack against a Xavier team seeking more consistent results as it navigates an early-season schedule. Tipoff is set for Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025.
