Davidson at Appalachian State
BOONE, N.C. (Interstat) — Two early-season, unbeaten streaks will be on the line Wednesday when the Appalachian State Mountaineers host the Davidson Wildcats in a nonconference women’s basketball game at the Holmes Center.
Appalachian State (2-0) has opened its season with dominant home victories, most recently a 110-35 rout of Bob Jones on Friday. Addie Biel scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds in that win, while Jada Burton added 10 points and six rebounds.
Davidson (2-1) arrives in Boone riding a two-game winning streak, including a 77-51 road victory over Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday. The Wildcats were powered by a pair of 20-point performances from Kyra Bruyndoncx and Charlise Dunn in that contest. Davidson’s lone loss came on the road against Mississippi State.
The game pits Appalachian State’s high-powered offense, which is averaging 87.5 points per game, against a Davidson team that has held its last two opponents to 51 points or fewer.
Tipoff is set for Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025.
