GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Interstat) — The Florida women’s basketball team dominated from the opening tip, cruising to a 100-55 victory over Jacksonville on Monday night at the O’Connell Center.

The Gators improved to 3-0, while the Dolphins fell to 1-1. Florida established a commanding 28-6 lead after the first quarter and never looked back, capitalizing on 32 points off 25 Jacksonville turnovers. Me’Arah O’Neal led the Gators with 20 points, while Liv McGill added 19. Bailey Burns scored 10 points for Jacksonville in the loss before an announced crowd of 1,224.
