GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Interstat) — The undefeated Florida Gators (2-0) will host the Jacksonville Dolphins (1-0) in a women’s non-conference basketball game Monday at the O’Connell Center.

Florida enters the contest following a pair of dominant home victories. The Gators are coming off a 94-52 rout of Chattanooga on Thursday, led by a near triple-double from guard Liv McGill, who scored 38 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished 10 assists. Me’Arah O’Neal added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Jacksonville opened its season with a dramatic 86-84 overtime win against Charleston Southern last Monday. Priscilla Williams recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Tatum Brown led all scorers with 20 points in the victory.

The game will be a test for the Dolphins’ defense against a high-powered Florida offense that has averaged 95 points through its first two contests.
