SMITHFIELD, R.I. (Interstat) — The Bryant Bulldogs, coming off a season-opening win, will host the Cornell Big Red in a non-conference women’s basketball game on Friday.

Tipoff is set for the Chace Athletic Center.

Bryant (1-0) began its season with a 71-50 victory over Central Connecticut on Monday. The Bulldogs will look to build on that momentum before a three-game road trip.

Cornell (0-0) opens its 2025-26 season Friday. The Big Red last played on March 8, 2025, concluding the previous season with a 91-58 loss to Columbia.

The matchup will be the first of 10 consecutive non-conference games for Cornell to start the season. The Big Red will travel to face Pittsburgh on Nov. 11.

Following Friday’s contest, Bryant will hit the road for a game at Marist on Nov. 11 before returning home to host Rider on Nov. 15.
