STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (Interstat) — The Penn State Lady Lions, coming off a dominant season-opening win, will host the Cincinnati Bearcats on Friday night at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Penn State (1-0) cruised to an 83-55 victory over Bucknell on Monday. Kiyomi McMiller led the way with 27 points and six assists, while Gracie Merkle added 24 points.

Cincinnati (0-1) looks to rebound from a narrow 88-85 home loss to Lehigh on Tuesday. Despite the defeat, the Bearcats showcased a potent backcourt. Mya Perry scored a game-high 31 points, and Reagan Jackson added 21 points.

The matchup pits Penn State’s balanced, high-scoring attack against a Cincinnati team that demonstrated offensive firepower in its opener but will be tested on the road. The Lady Lions will aim to capitalize on their home court advantage before a two-game trip to the Bahamas later this month.

Friday’s contest is the first of a tough early-season stretch for the Bearcats, who will face Saint Joseph’s on the road next Tuesday.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. EST.
