FOUNTAIN HILL, Pa. (Interstat) — Charlotte Tuhy scored 22 points to lead American to a 62-60 victory over Lehigh in a Patriot League women’s basketball game Wednesday night at Stabler Arena.

The Eagles built a 10-point halftime lead but endured a late scare. Lehigh’s Lily Fandre, who led all scorers with 23 points, fueled a second-half rally that brought the Mountain Hawks within a point in the final minute. American secured the win at the free-throw line, snapping a five-game skid.

American improved to 7-22. Lehigh fell to 15-13.
