ARLINGTON, Texas (Interstat) — Laura Bello scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Texas-Arlington outlasted Utah Valley 60-59 in overtime Saturday in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game at College Park Center.

The Mavericks, who trailed by as many as 10 points, forced overtime with a 22-point fourth quarter. Utah Valley’s Cambree Blackham led all scorers with 19 points. The Wolverines had a chance to win in the final seconds of overtime but could not convert.

Both teams struggled offensively, shooting under 30% from the floor. Texas-Arlington capitalized on Utah Valley’s 15 turnovers, scoring 25 points off them. The Mavericks improved to 10-13, while the Wolverines fell to 9-12.
