COLUMBUS, Ohio (Interstat) — Ohio State pulled away in the second half to defeat Wisconsin 81-58 in a Big Ten women’s basketball game Thursday night at Value City Arena.

The Badgers led 23-17 after the first quarter but were undone by a second-quarter scoring drought, managing only five points. The Buckeyes seized control with a 27-point third quarter, turning a narrow halftime edge into a decisive lead. Ohio State improved to 18-3 overall, while Wisconsin fell to 13-9.

A crowd of 4,855 watched the home team outscore the visitors 52-30 in the second half. Ohio State was a heavy pregame favorite and covered the spread with the 23-point victory.
