AUBURN, Ala. (Interstat) — Katie Fiso scored 24 points to lead Oregon to a 58-53 victory over Auburn in a nonconference women’s basketball game Sunday at Auburn Arena. The Ducks (9-0) used a strong defensive second half, holding the Tigers to just seven points in the third quarter to erase a halftime deficit. Ehis Etute added 16 points for Oregon. Mya Petticord scored 13 points for Auburn (8-1), which saw its eight-game winning streak snapped. A crowd of 3,115 watched as the Ducks sealed the win at the free-throw line in the final seconds.
