SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (Interstat) — Ryann Bennett scored 20 points to lead UC Davis to a 59-55 women’s basketball victory over Cal Poly on Saturday at Mott Gym.

The Aggies (17-7, 9-2 Big West) used a 22-point second quarter to build a lead and survived a late push from the Mustangs (3-20, 2-10). Charish Thompson scored 20 points for Cal Poly. Both teams struggled offensively, with UC Davis shooting 35.8% from the floor and Cal Poly shooting 37.5%. The difference came from beyond the arc, where the Aggies made 10 three-pointers to the Mustangs’ four. The win completed a regular-season sweep for UC Davis.
