Bryant at Stonehill
EASTON, Mass. (Interstat) — The unbeaten Bryant Bulldogs put their perfect record on the line Saturday when they visit the Stonehill Skyhawks in a non-conference women’s basketball matchup.
Bryant (5-0) is off to its best start in recent program history, coming off an 80-73 road victory over Merrimack on Wednesday. Nia Scott led the way with 25 points, while Mimi Rubino added 19 and Mia Mancini chipped in 13 points and six assists. The Bulldogs have won each of their games by double digits, showcasing a potent offense and stifling defense.
Stonehill (3-2) looks to rebound after a 79-53 loss at Maine on Monday. Brooke Paquette scored 13 points in that contest, with Bella Mallory adding 12 points and two blocks. The Skyhawks have been strong at home in Merkert Gymnasium this season, posting decisive wins over Rider and Niagara.
The matchup, organized by the Northeast Conference, pits one of the region’s hottest teams against a Stonehill squad seeking a statement victory. Bryant’s high-scoring trio of Scott, Rubino and Mancini will test a Stonehill defense that allowed 90 points in a loss to Georgetown earlier this month.
Tipoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at Merkert Gymnasium.
