Bethune-Cookman at Maryland
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (Interstat) — The undefeated Maryland Terrapins look to continue their dominant start to the season when they host the struggling Bethune-Cookman Wildcats in a nonconference women’s basketball game on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025.
The Terrapins (5-0) have won each of their first five games by double digits, most recently an 84-68 victory over Princeton on Sunday. A balanced offensive attack was led by Oluchi Okananwa, who scored 20 points, while Saylor Poffenbarger added 19 points and six rebounds and Addi Mack contributed 15 points and six rebounds.
Maryland’s high-powered offense will be a significant challenge for a Bethune-Cookman team that has allowed an average of 77.5 points in its three losses. The Wildcats (1-3) are coming off an 81-68 road loss to Florida International on Saturday. Alexandria Johnson led the way in that contest, scoring 23 points.
Bethune-Cookman’s lone win came against Albany State, 84-72, on Nov. 11. In their two other losses, the Wildcats were held to 41 and 36 points, respectively.
The game will be played at the Xfinity Center. It is the first-ever meeting between the two programs. Following this contest, Maryland will host George Mason on Sunday, while Bethune-Cookman travels to face North Florida on Nov. 28.
