Seattle at L.A. Rams

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Interstat) — A pivotal NFC West showdown is set for Sunday at SoFi Stadium as the Los Angeles Rams host the Seattle Seahawks, with first place in the division on the line.

Both teams enter the contest with identical 7-2 records, making this the marquee matchup of the NFL’s Week 11 slate. The winner will seize sole possession of the division lead.

The Seahawks are riding high after a 44-22 rout of Arizona last week, where quarterback Sam Darnold was efficient, completing 10 of 12 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown. The Seahawks’ offense has scored at least 38 points in three of their last four games.

The Rams are equally potent, coming off a dominant 42-26 road victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Quarterback Matthew Stafford was brilliant, throwing for 280 yards and four touchdowns in that win.

Despite the Rams’ strong form and home-field advantage, the Seahawks have been installed as a 3.5-point favorite by oddsmakers. The over/under is set at 48.5 points. A projection from Interstat, however, forecasts a 31-23 victory for the Rams.

This game is the first of two meetings between the rivals in a five-week span, with the Rams traveling to Seattle for a Thursday afternoon game on Dec. 18.
