Washington Commanders vs. Miami Dolphins
NFL International Series Features Struggling Commanders and Dolphins in Madrid
MADRID (Interstat) — Two teams with identical 3-7 records seeking a spark will meet an ocean away from home when the Washington Commanders face the Miami Dolphins at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025.
The NFL’s International Series game pairs franchises heading in opposite directions entering the contest. The Commanders are reeling from a 44-22 home loss to the Detroit Lions last week, their fourth consecutive defeat. Quarterback Marcus Mariota accounted for two touchdowns in the loss, but Washington’s defense has allowed an average of 38.5 points during the losing streak.
Conversely, the Dolphins are buoyed by a 30-13 upset victory over the Buffalo Bills. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw two touchdown passes in the win, which snapped a two-game skid for Miami.
Despite the divergent recent results, Washington has been installed as a slight 2.5-point favorite by bookmakers. The over/under is set at 47.5 points. A projection from Interstat, however, forecasts a 30-20 victory for the Dolphins.
The game offers a chance for both clubs to build momentum before their Week 12 byes and inject hope into disappointing seasons.
