Chicago at Cincinnati
CINCINNATI (Interstat) — Two AFC North rivals coming off tough losses will look to get back on track when the Chicago Bears visit the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium on Sunday.
The Bears (4-3) arrive after a 30-16 defeat in Baltimore last week, where quarterback Caleb Williams threw for 285 yards and added 24 rushing yards. Chicago had won three of its previous four games before the loss.
The Bengals (3-5) are looking to rebound from a heartbreaking 39-38 home loss to the New York Jets. Quarterback Joe Flacco passed for 223 yards and two touchdowns in the narrow defeat. Cincinnati’s defense has struggled, allowing an average of 30.5 points over its last four games.
Despite their losing record, the Bengals have been installed as 2.5-point favorites. The over/under is set at 51.5 points. A projection from Interstat simulates a 27-22 victory for Cincinnati.
The game will be a test for Chicago’s defense against a Bengals offense seeking consistency, and for the Bears’ offense to find its footing on the road against a Cincinnati team desperate for a win to keep its season aspirations alive.
