Braves rally past Rockies on Harris homer in ninth

DENVER (Interstat) -- Michael Harris II hit a two-run homer in the ninth inning, capping Atlanta’s comeback from a six-run deficit in an 8-6 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Friday night.

The Rockies had jumped ahead with five runs in the first inning, keyed by a two-run error from Olson. They added one in the second. But Atlanta’s bullpen held Colorado scoreless after the second, combining for seven innings of one-hit relief.

Didier Fuentes (1-0) earned the win with a scoreless inning, and Robert Suarez notched his fourth save. Juan Mejia (0-3) took the loss.

Attendance was 23,548, and the game lasted 2:44. Ronald Acuña Jr. scored twice for Atlanta.
