GILLETTE, Wyo. (Interstat) — The Laramie County Golden Eagles defeated the Gillette Pronghorns 90-80 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday.

Laramie County, the visiting team, improved its season record to 14-11. Gillette fell to 11-12 with the home loss. The Golden Eagles swept the regular-season series, having also won the previous meeting Jan. 28.

Interstat’s ELO system had narrowly projected Gillette with a 50.10 percent probability to win, but Laramie County secured the road victory.

Laramie County next hosts Central Wyoming on Wednesday. Gillette is scheduled to host Eastern Wyoming the same night.
