CASPER, Wyo. (Interstat) — The Gillette College Pronghorns avenged a loss from earlier this month with an 88-74 men’s junior college basketball victory over the Casper College Thunderbirds on Saturday. Gillette seized control with a dominant first half, building a 41-28 lead after the opening quarter and extending it to 88-74 by the final buzzer. The win improved the Pronghorns’ overall record to 13-12, while Casper fell to 11-16. The result flipped both the outcome and Interstat’s pregame projection from the teams’ Feb. 11 meeting, which Casper won 83-76 and entered this contest with a 64% probability to win again.
