Holmes 65, at Mississippi Delta 55

MOORHEAD, Miss. (Interstat) — The Holmes Bulldogs defeated the Mississippi Delta Trojans 65-55 in a men’s junior college basketball game Monday. Holmes built a commanding 37-23 lead in the first quarter. Mississippi Delta outscored the Bulldogs 32-28 in the second quarter but could not overcome the early deficit. The victory improved Holmes’s season record to 14-4. Mississippi Delta fell to 1-10. Holmes was projected with a 77.6 percent probability to win by Interstat’s ELO system.
