GILLETTE, Wyo. (Interstat) — The Gillette College Pronghorns defeated the Western Wyoming Mustangs 82-73 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. Gillette used a strong first half, taking a 44-38 lead into halftime, and maintained that advantage after the break. The Pronghorns improved to 11-9 overall, while the Mustangs fell to 6-11. The win avenged a three-point home loss to Western Wyoming last month. Rashad McCormick led Gillette, while Caelum Harris paced the Mustangs in the losing effort.
