Florida Southwestern State Routs Indian River State in High-Scoring Affair

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Interstat) — Florida Southwestern State cruised to a 101-82 men’s junior college basketball victory over Indian River State on Saturday. The Buccaneers, now 14-4, established a commanding 54-41 lead by halftime and maintained their offensive pace after the break. The Pioneers, who fell to 6-10, could not close the gap despite matching the home team’s second-half output. Marcus Kelley, Tyler Bey and Trey Fogle led a balanced scoring effort for Florida Southwestern State. The teams are scheduled to meet again in the regular-season finale on March 2 at Indian River State.
