Butler (Kan.) Routs Western Nebraska in High-Scoring Men’s Junior College Affair
EL DORADO, Kan. (Interstat) — The Butler (Kan.) Grizzly Bears defeated the Western Nebraska Cougars 114-95 in a men’s junior college basketball game Saturday. The Grizzly Bears, now 3-1, used a potent first-half offense, scoring 70 points to build a commanding lead after the Cougars had put up 62 in the half. Viktor Lukic-Gavric led all scorers with 30 points for Western Nebraska, which fell to 0-4. Devin Kerr posted a double-double for Butler with 10 points and 12 rebounds. The result defied a Interstat game simulator that had projected a tie, though its ELO system heavily favored the Grizzly Bears.
