WASHINGTON (Interstat) — Tyler Tejada scored 35 points to lead Towson to a 74-68 victory over Hampton in a Colonial Athletic Association men’s basketball game Saturday at CareFirst Arena.

The Tigers led 30-17 at halftime before the Pirates mounted a second-half charge, outscoring Towson 51-44 after the break. Michael Eley scored 23 points for Hampton in the loss. Towson improved to 18-14 overall, while Hampton fell to 13-19. A crowd of 1,770 attended the game.
