ST. PAUL, Minn. (Interstat) — Nolan Minessale scored 20 points to lead Saint Thomas (Minn.) to a 68-53 men’s basketball victory over Omaha on Saturday at Schoenecker Arena. The Tommies improved to 23-8 overall, while the Mavericks fell to 15-16.

Saint Thomas led 31-28 at halftime and used a 10-2 run early in the second half to create separation. The Tommies shot 44.1% from the field and made 10 3-pointers. Omaha was held to 32.2% shooting. Paul Djobet led Omaha with 13 points and Lance Waddles added 14. A crowd of 2,911 attended the Summit League game.
