BOULDER, Colo. (Interstat) — Barrington Hargress scored 23 points to lead Colorado to a 78-70 victory over Arizona State in a Big 12 men’s basketball game Saturday at a sold-out Coors Events Center.

The Buffaloes (14-10) led 39-32 at halftime and maintained a consistent offensive pace, scoring 39 points in each half. Arizona State (12-12) was led by Maurice Odum’s 23 points and Massamba Diop’s 19 points but could not overcome Colorado’s efficient shooting. The Buffaloes shot 50.8% from the field compared to the Sun Devils’ 40.4%. Colorado also held advantages in assists and blocks. The win completed a regular-season sweep for Colorado, which also defeated Arizona State on Jan. 3.
