LUBBOCK, Texas (Interstat) — JT Toppin recorded a double-double with 19 points and 16 rebounds to lead Texas Tech to an 82-50 victory over New Orleans on Wednesday afternoon at United Spirit Arena. The Red Raiders never trailed, leading 41-34 at halftime before holding the Privateers to just 16 points in the second half. Christian Anderson added 23 points for Texas Tech, which improved to 5-2. Jakevion Buckley scored 16 points for New Orleans, which fell to 3-5 with the loss. A crowd of 10,441 watched the game.
