LUBBOCK, Texas (Interstat) — The Texas Tech Red Raiders look to rebound from a blowout loss when they host the New Orleans Privateers in a non-conference men’s basketball game on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at United Spirit Arena.

Texas Tech (4-2) is returning home after a 56-86 road loss at Purdue last Friday. JT Toppin led the Red Raiders with 15 points in that contest, while Christian Anderson added 13 points. Prior to the setback, Texas Tech earned a narrow 84-83 home victory over Wake Forest.

New Orleans (3-3) also enters on a losing skid, having dropped its last two games. The Privateers fell 76-85 at Fresno State last Friday, despite a 25-point performance from Jakevion Buckley. MJ Thomas added 16 points and four assists in the loss. The Privateers’ season includes a 78-74 road win at TCU.

The game pits a New Orleans team that has played all six of its games on the road against a Texas Tech squad looking to protect its home court, where it is 3-0 this season.
