Wolfpack’s Offensive Onslaught Overwhelms UAB in Home Opener
RALEIGH, N.C. (Interstat) — North Carolina State cruised past UAB 94-70 in a men’s nonconference basketball game Friday night at Lenovo Center. The Wolfpack’s high-powered offense was too much for the Blazers as they improved to 2-0.
Quadir Copeland and Paul McNeil Jr. each scored 18 points to lead a balanced North Carolina State attack. The Wolfpack shot efficiently from the floor and never trailed after a dominant first-half performance.
Daniel Rivera scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds for UAB, which fell to 1-1. Jacob Meyer added 15 points for the Blazers in the losing effort.
